The Better Hong Kong Foundation (“Foundation”) is deeply saddened by the tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po, which resulted in multiple casualties and significant property losses. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Hong Kong citizens who lost their lives and to the brave firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Our deepest sympathy goes to the families of the victims and we pay the highest respect to all firefighting and rescue personnel. To help affected families through this difficult time, the Foundation will donate HK$3 million to the HKSAR Government’s "Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po", providing vital support to residents impacted by this tragedy.
