On 22 August 2024, the Foundation was pleased to have invited Bonnie Chan, CEO of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEX) to attend a luncheon where HKEX’s strategic initiatives including their positioning on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies, enhancements to the Stock Connect Programmes, efforts to solidify Hong Kong’s role as a global offshore RMB center, etc were covered. At the luncheon, Ms. Chan also shared her views on the internationalization of the HKEX as well as updates on the IPO market in Hong Kong.
