2024.08.12

The 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was successfully held in July, determining the direction of China’s future reforms. “Decision on Further Comprehensive Deepening of Reforms” was announced of which highlights included emphasizing the consolidation and enhancement of Hong Kong’s international financial status, and supporting Hong Kong and Macau in building international hubs for high-end talent talents. These policies worth our special attention. On 12 August 2024, the Foundation was delighted to have invited Joe Fang, Research Director of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute, and Tammy Tam, Editor-in-Chief of the South China Morning Post, to the meeting where they shared their insights and interpretations of the decisions, providing valuable thoughts for further exchange and discussion among the participants.
