Dr. Frankie W. C. YEUNG
Senior District Director
Mr. Frankie Yeung is a prominent figure in the local insurance industry and is currently the Senior District Director of the AIA International Ltd. He has served on the Executive Committee of Life Underwriters & Sales Executive Board since 1989 and was Chairman of the Board in the years 1992-1995.
Mr. Yeung embarked on a life-long journey to serve the community by first joining the Metropolitan Lions Club in 1995. He was elected District Governor of District 303 in 2004-2005, leading more than 65 sub-clubs to serve the local community. His achievements were further recognized in the community by his receiving the Capital Leaders of Excellence Award in 2006. In recent years, Mr. Yeung has been appointed to various public posts, including Chairman of the Cantonese Opera Development Fund Executive Committee, Member of the Chinese Opera Advisory Committee, Council Member of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Chairman of LCSD Chinese Traditional Performing Arts Panel, Panel Member of Radio & Television Hong Kong Program Advisory Board, Member of the Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health, Part-time Member of the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR Government and Vice President of the Hong Kong strategy. In recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions, Mr. Yeung was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2008 by the HKSAR Government. In 2002, he was appointed a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Sichuan Province and he was accorded an Honorary Citizen of Chang Le City, Fuzhou in 1993.
