The Better Hong Kong Foundation hosted a luncheon for a group of around 70 Fulbright scholars who attended the Fulbright China Research Forum. Dr. Ronnie Chan, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Foundation was the keynote speaker for this luncheon. The Foundation’s Council Members Dr. Gerald Chow, Ms. Winnie Ng, Dato SJ Wong, Mr. Thomas Wu and Dr. Roy Chung also attended the lunch to exchange views with the Fulbright Scholars.
The Fulbright China Research Forum is an annual meeting of Fulbright scholars who are conducting research in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The scholars are post-graduates from America, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Forum is organized by the Hong Kong American Center, supported by 8 universities in Hong Kong. The Fulbright Scholarship and the Forum are sponsored by the US Embassy in Beijing, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong.
