The Foundation, together with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and Shanghai Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CCPC), organized the forum on “Shanghai and Hong Kong in One Belt, One Road: Roles, Opportunities and Challenges” on 29 October 2015 aimed at further promoting collaboration between Hong Kong and Shanghai. It was the tenth annual forum that was jointly organized by the three organizations. This year’s forum was supported by Shanghai International Economic Exchange Foundation and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai. More than a hundred of experts, scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and the Mainland attended the forum. The Deputy Chairman of Shanghai CCPC Mr. Jiang Liang, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the SASS Prof. Yu Xinhui together with the Foundation’s Executive Committee Chairman Mr. Ronnie Chan officiated the opening ceremony of the forum. Invited by the Foundation, Mr. Ben Zhang and Mr. Henry Shi from Haitong International Securities Group Ltd gave presentations in the afternoon session of the forum.
