The theme of the 15th Hong Kong Cup Diplomatic Knowledge Contest was “New Journey for the Motherland, New Chapter for Hong Kong, New Opportunities for the World”. More than 60,000 students from 253 primary and secondary schools enrolled in this year’s contest which set the highest record since the launch of the contest. On 2 March 2023, representatives of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the HKSAR, the Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Better Hong Kong Foundation visited Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Primary School and Diocesan Girls’ School respectively to witness the first round competition. The representatives of the three organizers also asked comments from the students on the contest as well as encouraged the students to understand more about our nation and its foreign policy so as to broaden their horizons.
