In order to have a better understanding on the economic and cultural developments in Taiwan as well as its investment environment and opportunities, the Better Hong Kong Foundation organized the first delegation to Taiwan from 16 – 19 April 2013, visiting Taipei and Taichung cities. During the trip, the delegation has fruitful meetings with the Mayors of the two cities; Honorary Chairman of Kuomintang Mr. Lien Chan; representatives from commercial, industrial and cultural industries; and experts from local think tanks. It is hoped that further deliberations and collaborations could be enhanced after the visit. The delegation was supported by Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office in Taiwan and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong.
