By the invitation of the Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong, the Foundation hosted a speaking luncheon where two prominent female Israeli scientists, namely Prof. Mouna Maroun, Head of Department of Neurobiology at University of Haifa, and Prof. Michal Schwartz, Professorial Chair in Neuroimmunology at Weizmann Institute of Science, shared their views on “Neuroscience, Ageing and Immunity” on 30 May 2019. Chaired by the Foundation’s Trustee Tan Sri Dato’ David Chiu, members joining the luncheon included Trustee Dr. Adrian Cheng’s representative Dr. Wendy Hong; Council Members Ms. Winnie Chiu, Dr. Roy Chung, Mr. Joseph Yu, Mr. Philip Ma, Ms. Juliana Lam, Mr. Samson Chan, Mr. Chan Yim-kwong and Mr. Anson Chan; Executive Director Ms. Karen Tang; and guests Mr. Herman Hu, Mr. Vincent Lam and Miss Vivian Kong. Mrs. Ahuva Spieler, Consul General of Israel in Hong Kong and her colleague Mr. Ariel Lenga also joined the luncheon.
