Organized by the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and co-organized by the Better Hong Kong Foundation, the Asia Society Hong Kong Center, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association and Our Hong Kong Foundation, the CUSEF Annual Conference on “China-U.S. Economic Outlook – Towards Greater Interdependence” was successfully held on 3 December 2014. Over 300 guests attended the conference where Nobel Laureate Professor Michael Spence, Director of China’s Economic Research Institute, Professor Fan Gang, and Chinese University of Hong Kong Ralph and Claire Professor of Economics, Lawrence Lau, to share their expertise at the event. Mr. Tung Chee-hwa, Chairman of the CUSEF gave an opening keynote at the conference. Participants were able to learn more about the 2015 economic outlook for both China and the U.S. After the conference, a VIP dinner was held where Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui delivered a keynote speech.
