2014 Shanghai-Hong Kong Forum: New Starting Point for HK-Shanghai Cooperation

The Foundation, together with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and Shanghai Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CCPC), organized the forum on “Cooperation between Shanghai and Hong Kong: A New Starting Point and Broader Perspective” on 10 November 2014 aimed at further promoting collaboration between Hong Kong and Shanghai. It was the ninth annual forum that was jointly organized by the three organizations. This year’s forum was supported by Shanghai International Economic Exchange Foundation and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai. More than a hundred of experts, scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and the Mainland attended the forum. The Deputy Chairman of Shanghai CCPC Mr. Jiang Liang, the President of SASS Prof. Wang Zhan together with the Foundation’s Executive Committee Chairman Mr. Ronnie Chan officiated the opening ceremony of the forum.
