Sharing Session with the IPEM Asia 2025 Delegation

On November 5, the Foundation met with a delegation from IPEM (International Private Equity Market) during their visit to Hong Kong. As the first stop of the IPEM Asia 2025 program, the Hong Kong visit preceded events in Wuxi and Beijing, where former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin joined the program’s event.

The group, comprising prominent General Partners and Limited Partners from Europe and the Middle East, represented a significant pool of deployable capital with a strong interest in expanding their investment footprint across Asia. A dedicated session titled “Hong Kong: Outlook and Opportunities” was held to facilitate in-depth exchanges between Foundation members and the delegates.

The Foundation’s Executive Committee Chairman, Ronnie Chan, and Council Member Ronald Chan, spoke at the session and shared their expert perspectives on the region’s evolving economic landscape. The discussion highlighted Hong Kong’s enduring strengths as a global financial hub and its pivotal role in facilitating cross-border investment. The Foundation’s Trustees David Chiu and Vivien Chen’s representative Ken Wong; Council Members Joseph Yu, Bosco Law and Eugene Cheung; Executive Director Karen Tang; and guest Daniel Tseung of LionRock Capital joined the session.
