On February 17, the Foundation’s members visited the Legislative Council (LegCo) Complex at Tamar. The visit was organized and hosted by the President of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Andrew Leung, providing the group with a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong’s legislative functions and the critical role the Council plays in the city’s governance.

The program commenced with a luncheon hosted by President Leung. The luncheon served as a productive platform for dialogue, allowing our members to engage directly with the President on matters concerning the business environment and the importance of effective communication between the private sector and policy-makers. Following the luncheon, the group was treated to a comprehensive guided tour of the LegCo Complex. A highlight of the tour was the visit to the Chamber, where the delegation learned about the legislative process, voting procedures, and the historical significance of the meeting space. The tour also included an exploration of the various facilities and education galleries, highlighting the Council’s commitment to public engagement and civic education.
